Celtic Celebration with an Irish Brunch at the Brown Dog Cafe!

Join us Oct 13th and 14th for the annual Cincinnati Celtic Festival at Summit Park

This weekend-long celebration, presented by the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Foundation, features live Irish music all weekend — including a handful of pipes and drum bands — plus food, beer and games like a haggis toss and a Bonnie Knee contest to see which man in a kilt has the most attractive knees.

We will be hosting our own Irish Brunch before Mass on Sunday, from 8:30am until noon, join us there!

Starting on Aug 31st, the Brown Dog Cafe is beginning a new Artist in Residency Series…

Each Month we will have a rotating showcase featuring Local Artists from around town. Our first installation will feature Matt Meyung who has an eye for eclectic kitsch, Matt often works with mixed media, reclaimed wood, paints, and occasionally found objects.

Stop by on Friday, August 31st during Happy Hour for a meet and greet with Matt Meyung from 3-6pm. Hors D’oevre’s will be set out at the bar for anyone to enjoy.

Matt’s show will run from Final Friday through September 27th. All of his pieces will be available to purchase on Consignment through the Brown Dog Cafe.

Sad news for breakfast fans…

First off, the Brown Dog Cafe family would like to thank all of our loyal breakfast fans that have been dining with us regularly for Breakfast over the past year or so. We have come to a point in our restaurant’s growth where we have decided to build upon our lunch and dinner business and focus our staff effort there. We will still be open regularly for our weekend Brunch Service on Saturday’s and Sunday’s, so if you can’t otherwise satisfy your hankering for delicious pancakes, and savory omelets, be sure to stop by on a Saturday or Sunday from 10am-3pm, and we will be there to hit the spot.

If you really love our breakfast, reach out and we will cater your next breakfast event! Catering menu still up!


This may not be a permanent change, as the Summit Park and DaVentry Home’s continue their development, we may find ourselves adapting again to our new market opportunities, however for the time being Breakfast must come to an end.
